Description:
Ramped beaded blade front and two leaf (one standing, one folding) rear notch sights, standard markings and German proofs on the barrel with a "64" proof date, and a wedge of fine scroll engraving from ahead of the rear sight, terminating at the breech. The floorplate is engraved with a detailed semi-relief stag scene with matching scroll borders. Engraved claw type scope mounts with Hensoldt Wetzlar 2.3-7x scope. Bright polished bolt with matching partial "2500" serial number and light engraving, and double set triggers. Fancy checkered pistol grip stock with foliate carved accents, capped forend and grip, raised cheekpiece, and ventilated White Line recoil pad.Excellent. 97% original blue finish remains with sharp engraving, light handling marks, and a trace of edge wear. The stock is also excellent with attractive highly figured wood, sharp checkering and carved borders, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics. The rifle has a 22" barrel and a 13&3/4" l.o.p.
