The G48 is the slim version of the GLOCK G19 Perfection with the fantastic upgrades of the Gen5 GLOCKs. The most obvious feature of the G48 9mm pistol is the silver-colored nPVD coated slide, a very refreshing departure from the typical GLOCK black. Not so obvious is the 10-round magazine inside the textured, fuller-sized grip frame. The silver slide also highlights the front cocking serrations of the slide. Other Gen5 attributes are the lack of finger grooves, a reversible magazine catch, the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, and a built-in beavertail. Of course, the GLOCK 48 is a GLOCK so it has the specifications we have all come to expect from GLOCK such as the GLOCK Safe Action System trigger, no external safeties, and the GLOCK sights.
