Smith & Wesson, Victory, (U.S. Navy), Cal. .38 Spec. Ser. 824XX . Awesome condition. This beautiful "Cockpit Queen" looks like it spent the entire life in at a U.S. Naval Airbase. The gun retains at at least 99% of the original factory Parkerizing. The only loss there is, is from some very slight sharp edge silvering and several patches of very light scattered pin pricks. There is almost no visible cylinder turn ring. All parts match. The left top strap is stamped U. S. NAVY, the butt is stamped with the Ordinance Bomb and the Navy inventory number, V 2304XX. The wooden grips are flawless retaining all of the original factory lacquer. The grips are perfect. The cylinder face, recoil shield and force cone show no evidence of ever having had a fired round pass thru them. The bore is as pristine as the rest of the gun, sunshine bright with razor sharp rifling, not a shadow of frost anywhere. It would extremely difficult indeed to find a finer one. For the serious collector/investor it is very fairly priced.......$1095.****
