Description:
Here's an exceedingly scarce Ithaca 37S Skeet Grade 16 Gauge 2 3/4" chamber pump action shotgun in near mint condition. S/N 83*** Mfg. 1946.
Barrel is 26" Improved Cylinder choke with red front and white center beads atop the extra wide and matted ventilated rib. The original finished wood is beautifully figured with hand cut checkering and the correct factory butt plate with only the slightest of handling marks. The original bluing is nearly flawless as well, with one small spot of oxidation on underside as shown. This shotgun features bottom eject for easy ambidextrous shooting along with slam fire capability. Ithaca 37 Skeet grades of this most desirable vintage are very difficult to find in any gauge, and particularly so in 16 ga.
Surely among the best you will ever see offered of this very difficult to find model, and one that would be nearly impossible to upgrade. Flat rate of $55 for expedited/insured shipping from Alaska.
