Description:
SOLD *** This is a Merkel 200E 20 ga. with 28 inch barrels that are choked Mod/Imp Cyl with a solid raised rib. This classic European finely made gun has a single non-selective trigger, automatic ejectors, a Kersten double crossbolt lock up, a cheek piece, a pistol grip stock and sling swivels. The checkering is in the 24-26 lines per inch and is flawlessly done and the wood has only some minor handling marks. It has a classic three piece forend. The deep rich blueing is 100% as is the case coloring on the receiver and the forend iron. When you look at the inside of the standing breach you can slightly detect where it has been shot, but shot very little. It is tight, like new, when opening and the bores are shiny and bright, it was made in December of 1970 (1270). Of course it does have cocking indicators on either side of the receiver. The length of pull is 14" to the original factory checkered butt plate. The drop at the comb is 1-3/8" and the drop at the heel is 2-1/2". The chambers are 2-3/4". The gun weighs only 6lbs-8oz.
