Scarce Sharps Model 1, 4-shot .22 cal RF Pepperbox Pistol - Circa 1859 - Philadelphia, PA - Low Serial Number 4970 - Serial numbers match on barrels and the frame - 2 1/2 inch barrels with good bore - This is a scarce 1st Model Sharps .22 Pepperbox pistol with left side of lower barrel marked "C. Sharps & Co., Philada, Pa", and right side is marked "C. Sharps Patent 1859" - Action works well and firing pin rotates to each barrel as it should - The Original Gutta Percha Grips have a very old small repaired crack on the left lower side which is hard to see. This is a very nice scarce low serial number good working example in very good overall antique condition $25.00 Shipping/Insurance
