Merkel shotguns made in Suhl Germany demonstrate the famous German engineering, with strength and function always foremost in the design. The 360 EL is a graceful, lightweight “36 gauge” game gun utilizing the Greener Crossbolt top fastener in conjunction with the traditional double underlug fasteners to give incredible strength and durability to this handsome double gun. This 360 EL, sn383155 built in 2000, is #22 of 100 built in the EL series, a special run of .410 game guns made by Merkel with Luxus wood, hand engraved, deep chiseled, game scenes, and special attention to the smallest details. This gun is signed by Master Engraver Bernd Ludwig and comes with the original leather case, shipping box, and all the paperwork. Just look at the beautiful burl walnut stock on this gun! Awesome! The gun is in near new condition with only a couple of handling marks. There is no comparable gun in the Merkel line that measures up to this limited run of 100 guns, but you can buy a 360 EL today for $9300 and that is without the leather Maker’s case, and rather plain wood. This one can be had at a fraction of retail cost. With its 28" M/F fixed chokes, she weighs 5 3/4lbs. and balances dead on the hinge pin. This is a dynamic handling shotgun for your upland hunts or sporting clays. Priced to sell and destined to give you enjoyment for generations, it would be hard to find a better modern-day double gun value. Thanks for looking!
