Description:
This is serial number 1951 and was made in early 1897. It is all matching numbers and even the follower is numbered. There are a few small areas of blue remaining with the rest a dark plum color. The mechanical function is very good and tight and it has a very good bore with strong rifling. The frame is dinged and bruised on both of the milled panels on the right side. The left milled panel has dings and scratches also. The grips appear to be replaced and are very good. The markings and numbers are all very good but the one on the rear frame is worn but is very readable. This is the least expensive cone hammer with a great bore that I have ever owned.
