Co. Frankford, Phila, Pa - 5 shot Percussion .36 cal with factory 4 inch barrel double action - single action revolver with about 65-70% original blue on the barrel, loading rod, and cylinder with all matching numbers. This extremely nice collectible Cooper revolver came from a Philadelphia Estate where it was a safe queen for generations. This "Colt 1849 Pocket Model" look alike is all factory original in .36 cal. The matching serial number 11271 is clearly marked on the underside of the barrel, in perfect condition, confirming that the 4" barrel to the revolver to be all original. The serial number also appears on the heel & on the cylinder. The revolver is not deeply pitted like most examples, with a clean bore, and all cylinders. The gun does have its share of knicks and scratches from handling & use over the years, but is a perfect rare example of the .36 cal Cooper with the rare 4 inch barrel. Great opportunity to add one of the first made double action revolvers to a 19th Century Collection.
