Description:
RARE BULLARD LARGE FRAME LEVER ACTION .45-75 W.C.F. CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1886. 28” round barrel with factory ladder rear and nickel blade front sights. Full length magazine. Frame with crisp Bullard Repeating Arms Company and 1881 patent date. 100% original to the last screw ( all of which are excellent) with very early serial number “208” and only 5 numbers from number “203” which is exactly like it and pictured on page 67 of Scott Jamieson’s book “BULLARD ARMS”. Very scarce in this desirable large Winchester caliber which was same as offered in the Winchester 1876. Fine overall with excellent original patina mixed with minor thin blue on the barrel and tube. Excellent stock and forend with original “ELKS HEAD” Bullard logo hard rubber butt plate. Perfect working order and very fine bore with crisp rifling.
