The P290 model was replaced in 2012 by the P290RS. The main difference is that the DAO Trigger has been redesigned. The shooter can now simply pull the trigger a second time if there is a misfire. This is called "Restrike Capability." Some other elements were redesigned also including the grip beavertail area, added finger support on the magazine baseplate, a reshaped magazine release and slide hold open lever. This P290RS comes equiped with SIGLITE-Night Sights, a laser and is ANIB. Comes with 2 magazines (1-extended 7rd and 1-flush 6rd), holster and factory case.
