Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 Rifle fitted with a 28 inch heavy round barrel, walnut forearm and stock fitted with a steel carbine buttplate, double set triggers, globe front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, C. Sharps tang sight, and chambered in .45-70. This Farmington, N.Y. manufactured Sharps is in fine condition, retaining 98% blue on the barrel (couple of rust spots on the left side of the barrel under the front sight), 98% color case-hardened finish on the receiver and lever, and 85% color case-hardened finish on the lower tang. The stock and forearm retain all of their original finishes, with some very minor handling marks. The bore looks good except for some minor pitting near the muzzle. Sorry, no box or paper-work.
