Description:
This is an exquisite Colt Model 1877 Thunderer revolver that was engraved by Jerome Harper, master engraved for Colt (though the work was not done while he was at Colt). The gun was made in 1899, but was restored and engraved in the early 2000s. It has a six inch barrel and is chambered for .41 Colt. The engraving work is top of the line, and the restored finish and case hardening is also gorgeous. The gun comes with a Colt factory letter that states it was shipped in November of 1899 to Colt's San Francisco Agency. Gun works well in both single and double action. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but does have a few areas of pitting.
