Description:
Excellent condition (as-refinished) Remington Rolling Block rifle made for the Spanish military. The wood is in beautiful condition with rich color and typcal dings usually found on service rifles. There is a small armorer's repair at the top of the stock near the end of the barrel. The older re-blued finish is strong throughout with only minor inperfections and some light rust on the top line of the rifle. The lock-up on the rifle is tight and the bore looks fantastic with strong lands and groves. Bore is clean, a rare condition for a military black power rifle. All factory stampings are visible with Remington and Sons NY still readable. A very nice rifle for your collection and would be fun to still shoot at the range!
