It was manufactured in 1898, making it an antique by ATF definitions. The bore is good, with scattered light pits and strong rifling. The action works perfectly. The two-line Colt address is sharp and clear. The screws appear to be un-molested. The grips fit perfectly and are believed to be the original grips. Traces of bluing exist in protected areas, but he majority of the finish is worn smooth. This gun comes with its period correct holster.
