The Browning Superposed are hand-fitted shotguns that were made by some of the most talented craftsman in Europe to Browning's high standard of excellence. And only master craftsmen and women were allowed to work on these wonderful instance of Browning’s finest offering. This Diana grade special order Superposed 2 barrel set is a wonderful example of the best Browning made (see Browning letter attached). Made in 1975, well after the salt problems had passed, this beautiful target gun is truly a great product of the Belgian craftsmen at their peak of artistic production, being only one of a hand full of Diana grade trap guns with 30" and 32" barrels made. This gun was engraved by Lucien Ernst, a fantastic engraver. It has four ducks on the right side, five pheasants on the left, two flying partridge on the bottom and a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. This is a long tang gun with one of the best figured special ordered stocks to be put on any Browning and displays Midas grade checkering of 28 lines per inch with a full handed beavertail forends to guide the gun to your target. It has chokes of Full and Full on the 32" barrels and light mod and improved mod on the 30" barrels both with 2-3/4" chambers. It has the original specially made factory box and the Browning Jumbo Trap pad in the box. It comes in a Hartman luggage style Browning case as well. It weighs 7lbs. 12 ounces and is all factory original and still 100% of its overall condition. There are no handling marks from 44 years of occasional use. It comes in a period Hartman case. Highly desirable and wonderfully built to last, the value of these high grade Superposed guns continues to rapidly climb so there's no better time than the present to buy one.
