Description:
This is a Remington 700 Varmint Special bolt-action rifle chambered in 6mm Rem. This rifle has a 26" heavy barrel with an overall length of 46" weighing 9lbs 13oz. It is tapped and drilled for scope mounting. It has a single curved trigger and a Remington rubberized butt pad. The stock and fore end are laminated with a checkered pistol grip and a LOP of 13 1/2". Overall this rifle is in excellent condition with little to no wear on the stock/fore end, metal and the bore. There is slight wear to the bolt, and missing screws where it is tapped and drilled, (as seen in pictures.) The heavy barrel helps assure accuracy when shooting long range. It has sling swivel beads attached, and a Monte Carlo style raised cheek piece on the butt stock to help with comfort and eye relief. This rifle was manufactured in 1988.
