***SOLD*** Argentine DGFM (Direccion General de Fabricaciones Militares) Model 1927 .45 ACP semi automatic 1911A1 pistol, made at the FMAP factory, and officially licensed by Colt. This is an early model, with a 38XXX serial number, and the pistols started at 24XXX. The parts of these pistols are generally interchangeable with genuine Colt parts as well. No import markings are found anywhere on the pistol, and the slide/frame have matching numbers. The pistol appears to have been upgraded to a target-stye gun at some point, as evident by a very nice trigger pull, stippled front and back straps, and upgraded iron sights, as seen in the photos. The pistol is in great condition and and has a glass-smooth action with a nice bore. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition. A wonderful collectible shooter, however it wouldn't take much to bring it back to it's factory configuration, considering it will accept Colt parts with very little or no hand fitting. These are known to be very high quality licensed Colt copies. Includes one magazine. No handgun sales in MA.
