Civil War Quartermaster Regulation Cavalry Bugle... NICE CONDITION!!! Measuring 17-inches long with a 4 ½-inch in diameter bell. The bell is maker stamped "KLEMM & BRO / PHILAD". Removable mouthpiece.... No major dents or dings but showing honest wear from use..... Authentic bugles are the single, most difficult Civil War item to find! First, they did not need but one, per regiment. Second, many were lost or badly damaged in battle. Lastly, the ones that survived, are mostly in relic condition, or "unmarked". This one is marked, to a major supplier of musical instruments to the government, during the war. It was acquired from one of the most prestigious houses in the US.............WITH CONFIDENCE!
