Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a nice all-original Colt Cobra .38 Special revolver with it's original factory box serial numbered to the gun and with an intact end-label(missing cardboard insert). This Cobra appears to have been fired very little and would be a 98% plus gun if not for a few scars from being dropped. The original gloss blue factory finish is still bright and beautiful, showing no wear from actual use. As mentioned before, there are 4 spots on the gun that show marring from most likely being dropped, and there are close-up pictures provided of all three areas. These 4 spots are located on the bottom of the triggerguard towards the front, on the left side of the frame on the edge below the hammer, the bottom edge of the rear grip strap, and the upper right rear corner of the frame above the cylinder. As you can see from the pictures, they are all minor spots but the silver of the metal is exposed. The next owner should be able to repair these spots fairly easily with a gloss black paint to blend them in at least. The polished sides of the hammer are still nice and bright with no staining, and the factory checkered Walnut grips are in excellent condition free from any cracks, chips, or repairs. The bore in the 2" inch barrel is bright and pristine with sharp rifling, and the six cylinder bores are equally as clean. The action on this Cobra is in perfect "time" and locks up tight, and all of the controls are in perfect working order. This Colt Cobra should work 100% like the day it left the factory in 1972. This is a great little Colt Cobra that would be an excellent addition to any Colt collection.
