Description:
This rifle is in like new condition. The metal is in great shape with no noticeable handling marks with the exception of some fingerprint fragments in the finish of the floor plate. Checkering and wood finish are excellent as well. Bore is like new.Lightweight, dependable, and accurate are just a few of the adjectives that can describe the famous Winchester Model 70 Featherweight. The forged steel receiver is bedded at both ends to eliminate shifts in zero. The controlled round feed uses the trusted claw extractor to control the round during the entire firing cycle. The 3-position safety can be easily seen to determine what setting it is on. The cold hammer forged barrel features a recessed target crown and is free floated to improve accuracy. A rifle that can be depended upon to go almost anywhere and do almost anything.
