Description:
Sensational 1943 Springfield CMP with COA and Armour's notes, born on 10-43 and went through rebuild in 1948 (barrel date) the CMP gauged the ME at 2 and the TE at 3+. My gauges showed a ME of 1.7 and a TE of 3. The CMP stock is one of the nicest I've seen and it locks up tight which will enhance accuracy. There is zero pitting on any metal parts and no rust with possible original parkerization, some parts like the new parkerization are evident as shown by the photo of the buttplate. SN 2049082 has a 10-48 barrel with mirror bore, a IHC 652287 E20 bolt, a SA hammer D48008-5-SA which is correct, a correct receiver D28291-5-SA, a correct type 2 trigger, a correct D282290 -12 -SA trigger housing and a correct operating rod D35382 6 SA. It will be shipped in a CMP hard case for $1150 to a C&R/FFL and I am a C&R licensee. I accept certified bank checks and USPS money orders.
