Very rarely seen, never found in this condition. These were issued to the Mechanized units not trench fighters. The case has two locations where the case can be secured to the bulkhead of a tank or motor vehicle. If you have a hard copy of "Rock and a Hard Place" (BAR) book you will find examples of very rare accessories that accompanied the early Machine Rifles (BAR).
