Description:
Serial #178868, 20 Ga. (2 3/4"), 28" barrels with fine, bright bores that have some mild freckling in both tubes (choked MOD and FULL). The barrels of this gun have an overall dark plum-brown patina with some faint mottling along the sides, as well as traces of their original blue on protected areas. The frame has a darkly mottled plum-brown patina with some pale gray along the balance of the frame metal; mostly along the bottom edges. The walnut pistol grip buttstock and forend have numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes with a small chip missing from the left side of the top tang. Some with-the-grain drying cracks are also present on the sides of the buttstock itself. The stock has a 14 1/2" LOP to an ill-fitting rubber recoil pad, and drops of 1 3/4" and 2 3/4" respectively. The lock-up is good, and the lever rests right of center. This is a nice Ithaca and rates about good condition overall. FFL or C&R
