Description:
Serial #5K67959, .38 Special, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver has retained 85-90% of the original blue that has faded and silvered at the muzzle, along the high edges, and on the gripstraps. The cylinder has gray metal around the edges of the flutes consistent with holster wear, and the hammer and trigger have much of their original color case-hardening remaining. The revolver is fitted with faux pearl, S&W medallion grips, and a second set of OEM uncheckered S&W target stocks are also included. Additionally, the revolver is machine-engraved on the left side of the frame: “SACTO. P.D." (Sacramento, CA). This is a great K-frame Combat Masterpiece revolver that was issued to a major police force, and rates fine condition overall. FFL
