U.S. Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor .45-70 caliber rifle. Very good Springfield trapdoor rifle Model 1873. Stock is in good condition with a sharp cartouche dated 1883. Bore is excellent with strong rifling. Barrel has a brown patina finish. Breech block shows original case coloring in protected areas. Overall a very good gun!
