Description:
Browning Superposed 12 gauge O/U shotgun circa 1937. 30” solid rib barrels with .728” bore diameters and chokes of .020” & .040” (IM/XF) and great bores. Single selective trigger, non-automatic safety. Custom buttstock by Wenig has a 14 1/8” LOP over a ½” Pachmayr presentation pad, 1 9/16” DAC, 1 9/16 DAMC & 2 ¼” DAH with a “dramatic” right hand palm swell and a slight roll over comb that feels great. This Browning is very tight and mechanically excellent. The crack that is visible on the right side of the original forearm was repaired a long time ago and it is very solid. Cosmetically the metal is 83 years old, original and is showing its age with fading blue, light spots of surface pitting and muzzle wear. With all of that this is a great shooter, ideal for trap or sporting clays. Weighs 7 lbs. 6 oz. NOTE: The Wenig stock would cost over $1500!
