Description:
The Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket was manufactured from 1908 to 1946.  The small pistols were fitted with a 2 inch barrel, fixed sights, checkered hard rubber grips on early models, walnut on later, a 6 round magazine, color case hardened finished trigger, safety, and grip safety, were blue or nickel finished, magazine disconnect added on guns after 1916, and were chambered in .25 ACP.  This 1910 vintage Model 1908 is as described, but fitted with plastic faux stag grips.  The pistol is in excellent condition, retaining 90% of its original high polish blue finish, with most thinning at the muzzle and the slide.  The grips fit well and are also in excellent condition, with minimal wear, no chips and only two small hair line cracks behind the screw of both grips.  The bore is great shape and the action functions the same.  A very shootable example of a Colt 1908.
