Sale pending. This 29 was never stamped with the model number. It was built in 1987 so it's not a pre 29. It should have been stamped 29-3 but it's not. I called S&W and they said it must have just slipped through. It's a 6" barrel and it comes with hogue grips, and the wooden ones. The bore is bright and rifling is strong. The trigger is fantastic! It has a little bluing wear at the muzzle and at one point on the cylinder. I've been in the gun business for almost 30 years and I've never seen one that " slipped through" without getting a model number. Make an offer.
