Description:
This is a well above average 1884 Springfield carbine made in 1886. The barrel is plum color and the breechblock and lock have nice case colors. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the bore is very good, bright and shiny with strong rifling. The wood is very good with a nice 1886 Inspector Cartouche. The butt compartment contains the original 3 section cleaning rod and tool. All of the markings are sharp and it has a very nice 1886 stock cartouche. The serial number is 343101.
