This is a squirrel rifle of .36 caliber and is 54" long. It is in absolutely beautiful shape. It has been cleaned and checked out by a famous local gunsmith and is ready to shoot. He related that the cleaning rod may be the original but is definately not a recent one and also believed their is $600 to $800 worth of silver inlays attached. It has no patchbox. It is signed at the top of the barrel on a brass fitting. A truly rare piece. I have one other single barrel percussion rifle listed on this site. Whichever one sells first I will delete the listing for the other and keep that gun for myself.
