This Savage Arms Fox Model B a 1949 example and is one of most beautiful examples we have ever encountered. The photos simply do not do justice to the quailty relief engraving. The overall condition of this gun shows as new. No handling marks in wood, metal is nearest 100%. The engraving alone, done by a engraver would today, could run more than the price of this very nice Savage Arms Fox Model B. This is a Gold Washed Single Trigger, Model B with Beavertail Forearm with ivory inlay. The family that collected many fine guns did not shoot their guns, but only collected the highest quality firearms in the days gone by and kept all guns in a safe with snap caps to ensure sears, trigger and hammers are released. Note the Serial# Circled "A" RU.
This specific Fox has been a "Safe Queen" for over 40 years and kept in as new condition.
