CIVIL WAR ERA MANHATTAN .36 CAL. PERCUSSION 3RD SERIES NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1864. 5 shot with 5” octagon barrel stamped “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J.” All original and matching numbers in the 25,xxx serial range. Extra fine 100% original with 20-30% blue evenly mixed with very nice patina. Grey-blue patinated case hardening. Beautiful 100% cylinder scene with Naval and Military cartouches and stamped “PATENTED DEC. 27, 1858”. Brass straps with all the silver and walnut grips in near mint condition with all the varnish. Near perfect and all original screws and in perfect working order. Exceptional bright bore and chambers. Very nice example at a reasonable price.
