NEW YORK CITY PERCUSSION .45 CAL. HALF-STOCK HUNTING RIFLE SIGNED HALL & HODGSON CA. 1850’S. 48” overall with 33” octagon barrel stamped “HALL & HODGSON” behind the rear sight. Lock plate stamped “HALL & HODGSON” beneath hammer. Fine quality New York rifle. German silver mounts and walnut stock. Plum browned barrel. Original sights and ramrod. Double set triggers. Excellent and all original with exception of the barrel which has been nicely re-browned. Working order and excellent plus bore. Hall & Hodgson’s shop was at 43 Gold St. off Maiden Lane in lower Manhattan.
