Truely exceptional, all original , Jones UL double rifle. 28" damascus barrels showing 99% pattern, perfect mirror bores, wide flat rib with four folding express sights. makers name and address. When looking at the bores and breech face, it appears unfired. Action and non rebounding locks with 97% vivid case colors and fire blue stalking saffties, and sharp, crisp banknote engraving. Wood with crisp original checkering, proud to metal, only minimal handling marks, straight grain with nice fiddleback and contrast, bolted forend, steel buttplate, sling eyes and vacant silver oval. Excellent unmolested screws.
All original finishes, really, appears to have had little to no use, look at the breech face, photos 11 & 12.
