Description:
This second model Stevens was produced between 1912 to 1915. The rifle's serial number is K 817. It has the 22 inch round barrel with standard sights. The bore is in very good condition with sharp lands. There is some light pitting in spots near the lands. The barrel and magazine retain almost all of the original bluing. The most wear is by the pump handle due to pumping. The bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. The reciever original bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The stock and pump handle have all their original finish intact. There is no cracks or damage to the wood. The action works smoothly with no issues. The original hard rubber  buttplate has the checkered pattern. The buttplate has no chips or damage. This J.Stevens 22 pump is in very fine collectable condition. This second model 70 was only produced for 3 years. To find a Stevens visable loader in this condition is a real find today! Remington 22 Dog bone boxes are for display only.
