The Beretta 687 is a well-known action that has been used by Beretta in their field guns and clay target guns for decades. It is a very attractive action as it is shallow, and a very strong action that is up for the rigors of competitive clay target games and high-volume shooting like doves in Argentina. Most of the 687 guns you see are on the heavy side for upland hunting, in the neighborhood of 7 1/4lbs. The Ultralight Deluxe was made for the long, tough walks in heavy cover required by upland hunting and this one weighs in at 6lb.s 11oz. with 28” barrels! That is a very light 12ga. gun and with the engraving and gold inlays the gun is beautiful. The gun has seen little use and comes with the original box and 4 screw-in chokes, 3 of them extended length. Being a lightweight gun, the Kickeez pad is a welcome addition to tame the recoil of heavy pheasant and duck loads. These are hard guns to find and this one has 99% factory blue and action finish, no dings or gouges in the stock, a 99% overall gun. We have it priced to be affordable and this gun has the more desirable 28” barrels. It will do equally well at the clays course and you can shoot light loads there to practice for your upland hunts.
