Description:
This 16 Ga/Bore Unknown Maker Cape Gun has 27-1/2” blued tapered round barrels featuring a matted rib with a bead front sight. The bluing on the barrels is very good with the exception of some light freckling and two small dents on the underside of the right barrel. The left barrel is smooth and the right is rifled. Both bores show deep scattered pitting throughout. The very tastefully engraved receiver has developed a patina. The checkered Walnut buttstock with an insert for a sling has scratches and usage dents. The serrated horn buttplate has some insect caused damage. The Select Hardwood forearm is not original to the gun and is held in place with a screw. This gun features a forward sling mount on the bottom rib. Length of pull is 13-1/2 left trigger, 14-1/2 right trigger. Overall length is 44-1/4”, and weight is 6 lbs. Please Note: We are selling this gun AS-IS. Our stock number is C10.
