The barrel is the correct 26" long. Has correct rear sight, and hardwood stock, has typical dents, from battle usage.The forend wood, is separate from the stock..NOT DUFFLE CUT! This is found on last ditch rifles as Japan couldn't get long pcs of wood! Mum has been removed. Locks up tight.Good example of a WWII Japanese last ditch used rifle. THIS IS CHAMBERED FOR THE 7.7MM CARTRIDGE.The stock and configuration is late war as the butt-plate is made of wood, ad has a hole drilled in the butt-stock for a rope sling. SN 984643 Tokyo maker.
