Description:
Stevens/Savage model 5100 in 410.The model 5100 was built between 1940 and 1948 and was an upgraded version of the Stevens 311.This gun has a checkered walnut stock and forend,a raised solid rib,double triggers,and twin steel beads.The barrels are 26" and are choked full and full with 3" chambers.The bores are bright and free of rust,pits,or dents.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage.The top lever is still to the right and the gun locks up tight with no looseness.The barrels retain around 95% of the original blue.The receiver still has 50% of the original case colors.This is an unusual little gun that would be great for preserve quail,doves.or just fun clays shooting.It would also be a great first double for a young shooter.C&R eligible.
