A nice original Remington Rolling Block Rifle in what we think is a .43 Spanish caliber as it is definitely a bottle necked cartridge and about .43 caliber. These were made by Remington and distributed the world over with many thousands of them to various countries in South and Central America. This particular example appears to be all original with a very good shootable bore. While appearing with no bluing on the barrel or receiver many of these were made and left in the white as this one appears to have been. Wood is walnut and solid. A nice representable Black Powder Rolling Block rifle by one of America's oldest gunmakers!
