This is one of the German made MEKELs 16 gauge side by sides like new in a case. It came from an estate before the owner had a chance to use it. It appears new. I say that because some people seem to think it has to be untouched to be new. Receiver and triggerguard have near full coverage engraving. 28 inch barrels choked MODIFIED, and Improved cylinder.. Pistol grip checkered stock with polished oil finish. Splinter forend. Again polished oil and fine checkering. Double triggers and cocked indicators. The case is MERKEL made. Has it been fired? Can't say, but there is no evidence it has. I will consider reasonable offers. If you can help me to identify what model this is, I would appreciate it. Questions? ASK!! I have been told this is probably a Model 47E.
