Payment Types Accepted: Money Order, Certified Check Description: This is a scarce Model 1867 Spencer Military Rifle that is in fantastic condition. This is among some of the last Spencer Repeaters produced before the company went out of business in 1869 following the Civil War in the United States. Many of these late Spencers were sold to France where they were used in the Franco-Prussian War. This one has 90% original barrel blue and 75% good discernable original case colors remaining on the frame/lock. Right side of the action is the main wear spot which is more faded, silvered, and mousy while the left side if vivid case...as is the balance of the action. Wood is in Fine Condition with its original oil finish and some type of foreign proofmarks on each side of the stock. A few handling marks and a small chip just behind the lockplate but has never been cleaned or refinished. The actionis perfect and the bore looks to be MINT, possibly unfired. If you like what you see in the photos, then you'll be even more impressed seeing this Spencer in person as the images do not do it justice. 2 dimensional images do not begin to capture the incredible colors and condition of the original finish on this rifle.
