Colt Medium Frame Lightning .38-40 caliber rifle. Bore has excellent rifling with some light corrosion in the grooves. Action works smoothly and perfectly. This is a half magazine rifle and would be a special order rifle. Overall the rifle has a very pleasing smooth light patina color. Stocks are good with light dings and surface dents. Forend has very good original checkering. Barrel address is sharp and clear. This is a very eye appealing special order rifle!
