Description:
Serial #1239, .22 LR, 24 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome little rifle that has nearly all of the original blue on the Mossberg Model 144 barrel, and gray metal on the receiver that has brown freckling that carries over onto the lever. The beavertail forend is not original , but is in excellent shape with only minor handling marks and small blemishes, and the original buttstock is in good shape with numerous small handling marks and blemishes throughout. The rifle is equipped with a sporting front sight, but does not have a rear sight. The tang screw holes are vacant, so it is probable that a tang sight was once fitted. This is a nicely refurbished Favorite that needs a a rear sight. FFL or C&R
