Description:
Standard 20 inch barrel carbine configuration chambered in 44 WCF caliber. Marked on the side plate "American Express Company". Gun is in very nice condition with mostly aged blue metal turning a plum color. Appears to have had some cold blue added on the side of the frame. Wood is excellent with carbine style buttplate. Nice shiny bore. Overall gun comes complete with Cody Research form identifies it as having been ordered by the American Express Company. Correct saddle ring and original dust cover. Also comes with a pair of American Express belt buckles. One is from Nevada and the other from California. A very nice outfit that I owned about 10 years ago. I guess it came home to roost.
