Description:
This is one of the rarest guns in my 40 plus years of collecting W&C. Scott Guns.
This was an attempt by Scott to produce a gun that would not shoot loose. This ungainly looking gun did not sell well, and very few were made.
The price reflects the condition of this rare gun. It has seen a lot of use over the last 146 years.
Finishes have faded and checkering shows lots of wear.
Bores are somewhat shiny, but have some pitting.
This gun would be an excellent restoration candidate, but would be a critical addition to the serious collector of Scott guns.
