Description:
Marked on the side of the receiver is Model 14. This gun has been in my personal collection for about 40 years. I have not seen another like it. I assume it is an F Grade. It has a large gold inlaid moose on one side and a grizzly on the other. The trigger guard has 3 initials. A very unusual gun and I have not seen another to compare it to. Definitely different than Remington usually did their high grade rifles. A beautiful gun with about 95% bright barrel blue remaining. Excellent bore. Original front sight. Missing the rear barrel sight. Folding tang sight. Pistol grip checkered deluxe wood has been lightly cleaned but not sanded or undersized. Correct Remington shotgun style buttplate. Receiver is in fine condition as well with about 90% original blue slightly toning. On top of the receiver is a game scene with a couple of deer. On the bottom side is a game scene with a lion in it. A sharp little gun. Buttstock has two very minor age cracks towards the receiver.
