Description:
Classic Arms Model PH1301 Snake Eyes, .36 Caliber, Double-Barrel, Black-Powder Derringer constructed from a Classic Arms kit. It features a brass frame with two .36 caliber brass barrels, imitation ivory (plastic) grips, two hammers and a single trigger. Overall length is 6 3/4". Overall unloaded weighs is 1¼ pounds. All American made. Other items include the original box, a User’s Guide sheet, a Firing Instruction sheet, and an extra hammer spring.
The overall condition of this gun is 98+ percent. Some folks call it tarnish, some people call it patina. Regardless, I decided to leave the brass as is, in case the buyer likes patina. If not, it is easily cleaned and shined with brass cleaner. The metal is near perfect, as are the imitation ivory grip panels.
This is a black powder replica, modern made. This pistol seems to function mechanically. However, we are selling it, as is, and not warranted safe to shoot. No FFL paperwork required on this gun which is classified as an antique replica and carries the same rules as one made pre-1898. We will only ship this item to the United States and only where it is legal to do so. Please know your local/state laws before buying.
