This fabulous Pre Model 21 aka Model of 1950 .44 Military shipped on June 3, 1955 to Sloan Sporting Goods in New York, New York and is equipped with a 5" barrel, original satin blue finish and the numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna grips. A gorgeous .44 Special that is complete in an equally mint gold picture box with the Helpful Hints brochure, tissue wrap and unused tool kit. There were only 1200 of these made during their short production run, with many these seeing hard use, knowledgable collectors are aware of the extreme scarcity of high condition and original examples.
Overall this sought after .44 Special is virtually as-new and retains over 99%+ of the original satin blue finish which shows only the faintest collector type handling evidence. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the grips are every bit as crisp and sharp as the gun itself. An extremely desirable 1950 .44 Military that will never need to be upgraded in any way!
